About Us
Destiny’s Pet Project Resq Inc is a foster-based 501c3 not-for-profit organization. We operate from privately sourced donations, however we are seeking grants and grant writers to help us attain our goal to acquire a farm/land so we can help other rescues with boarding as well as board our own pets in need. Currently, our dogs and cats go to approved foster homes.
We pull death row animals from high kill shelters around the country and hand-select foster homes best suited for the needs of the pet. All foster homes receive several home visits by me or one of my trusted employees or volunteers. We require reference checks including speaking to your veterinarian. We also will cover any medical needs the pet may have while in foster care.
Our vision for the future is to acquire the financial backing to build/move into a sanctuary/shelter for animals that would otherwise be unnecessarily killed. Plus we wish to create a network of dedicated caring compassionate people nationwide who wish to get involved by adopting, fostering, transporting all different kinds of animals who need our help. Our Mission
Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, re-home any and all animals that need help.
We accomplish that by knowing the pets that are in our organization. Daily evaluations of our pets by our staff, trainers, and veterinarians are all taken into consideration.
Our application process helps us to determine what pet may be the right one for you. Our pets stay at our facility until we feel they are ready for their new permanent home unless other accommodation is deemed more suitable. All factors will be considered with the best interests of the pet being the highest priority.
Re-homing does not stop there, we love to stay in contact with our adopters. We will always be available for support, information, and help when you need it before, during, and after you adopt.
